Livre d’Or et Opinion sur Hotel Gérard et Francine à Nosybe Ambatoloaka Madagascar

We stayed 3 nights here after a "dhow" trip and we relished the large clean rooms, lovely veranda seating areas, excellent laundry service, great breakfasts and most of all, the exceptionally friendly and professional staff who went out of their way to greet us and help us. Very well-run place. It's at the very quiet end of Ambatoloaka beach/town with great sunset views but still just a very short walk to a good variety of quite good restaurants and bars. The terrific location offsets the only minor drawback which is that the beach and swimming in Ambatoloaka are okay but not great as many other beaches in Madagascaar -- but that's me being a bit spoiled about beautiful beaches!
